Next we stopped by Mojo Liverpool on Back Berry Street for tasty cocktails and a couple Sambuca shots, they play a big variety of music and all of it is decent, well worth a visit if you're on a weekend break to the city!
So this weekend was all about relaxing and getting back down to earth, literally. On Saturday afternoon L'Homme and I took a little drive out to the countryside, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and it felt a million miles away from the weekly grind.
After months of hard work on the inside of our home we finally started to get to work on the small back garden. I have visions of a beautiful leafy Mediterranean style hideaway with plenty of comfy seating and twinkly lighting!
With a large utility room at the back of the house we had no need for the old garden shed and much preferred to use the space it was taking up instead. I am always reluctant to throw useful things away so we built a planter from the wood which is acting as a temporary bed for plants but will eventually be a miniature herb garden.
We picked up these lovely glass bottle wind resistant tea light holders (3 for £5) and party lights (£20) both from Clas Ohlson. The rest of the garden isn't complete yet but I will keep my blog updated with new garden pictures as it develops, I'm so excited for the warmer weather and al fresco dining.
Love
